Do I have to let my husband choose our new baby son's name?

My husband and I just had a new baby boy and we have not named him yet. We are waiting to officially decide on name until my parents and sister get her from the states because they missed the birth. However, we seem to be bickering about the name. He is a huge fan of Hugh Jackman and he wants to name our son Hugh but I hate that name. I did tell him he could name him Jackson. Which I think sounds better. He says that he should be able to name him since he's his son. Just like it would be me who should name our daughter if we ever have one. Is this true? For the record this is just playful bickering, we are extremely happy that we have a healthy baby boy. Its just I wanted to see if this really is traditionally how people name their children.
