Why dont the Yankees seem to want to get Matsui or Damon back? They will regret it of they dont!?

They may have injury issues, but they are awesome plaers and have proved to be a HUGE part of this year's championship run. I mean Damon can foul an 0-2 pitch and make it seem like event eh Geico caveman can do it! Matsui is a monster DH, he lives up to his name, Godzilla! No way you can send the World Series MVP packing! Why don't the Yankees seem to want them back?
