A handyman has been bullying me, what can I do?

Hi, I recently got my door being smashed and I asked a handyman come over and have a look. I stated clearly I expect to pay a certain amount (and not more than that) on the advertisement, but the guy came and torn off two big pieces of my door and created a big hole and told me that he need it for getting the paint code for quotation. He then quoted me a very high cost, so I refused to have the job done. Then I kindly asked him to let me know the paint code but he said that he couldn't get the paint code asHome Depot won't allow unless they creat a receipt by purchase. I then asked him to give me back the two big pieces of my door, but he refused to do so, neither. Now, he refrain me from contacting him and stay as far away from him as possible. But, I just want the pieces back because the hole is so big and I am so heartbreaking, (intially the door is just having some crack). If you were me, how do you feel? What would you do? I only got his email and cell no. but he already has my email, tel. and address. I am worried that he will put me in danger because we had really bad communications. And I think he has been bullying me, please let me know what I can do. Thanks!
